Happy Humpday!

I’m on vacation from the hot climate of Sun City, AZ. We are visiting family and friends across the U.S.A. For the next three weeks, we’ll be spending time with our 3 and 4 (almost 5)-year old grandsons. They teach us lessons of patience, how to have fun, and how much less energy we have than we had our own children.

Some days in the church office, I encountered people as needy as my grandchildren–the ones, you know, who need something right now. Those who want to talk your leg off and those who need to be consoled or encouraged.

May you find peace in the process of working through your busy week and a sense of joy for the days when you are overwhelmed with a heavy workload.
