Hump-Day Meditation Muse — Trusting God!

Trust in the LORD with all your heart. Never rely on what you think you know. Proverbs 3:5

I go back to this familiar scripture when I enter into a period of worry, fear, doubt–the nasty trio.

Then I keep saying, Thank you, Lord – to remind myself that God is in control.

  • Remember! If you’re going to pray about something, why worry?
  •  If you’re going to worry, why pray? God is on our side, and no matter what happens,
  • Worry crowds the heart –There is not room for worry and prayer in our hearts at the same time.
  • No one has ever worried themselves into a longer life!

May you lock up your office this evening knowing that you have done the best you can to prepare for Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter–the Resurrection of our Lord!

Dear Lord, give all who serve in the church office a boost for today and every day. Amen.
