Peace for the process …

“If there were any way I could be cursed by the Messiah so they could be blessed by him, I’d do it in a minute.” Romans 9:3

imageApostle Paul was so compassionate about his ministry he said he’d take a curse just to have someone receive the blessing of The Lord. Actually, he did take a curse of sorts the day he was struck blind on the road to Damascus. But we know God gave him the blessing three days later of restored sight and a new insight as to how to live his life as a Christian.

If you are a parent, you may have once said you would change places with a child that’s ill or has been injured. I feel blessed I’ve never had to bargain with God to heal a child with cancer, mend broken limbs, or sympathize with a child unmercifully bullied. I can only image the helplessness parents feel when they offer in prayer to take away the pain for their child and receive inner peace.

Lord, give us peace for the process of dealing with tough situations. Amen.
