The Spirit Moves — Daily Meditation Moment

“The moment I hear the voice, the Spirit entered me and put me on my feet.” Ezekiel 2:2

I can’t remember when the Spirit entered my soul. It could have been as a child during vacation Bible school, youth camp, or when I gave birth to my first child. Everyone is gifted with a spirit life; but one must open his or her hearts and minds to let it enter.

The Spirit comes to me in the form of “spirit” bumps (also known as goose bumps) during worship—especially through a song or when a baby is baptized—or when I feel a breeze passing over me on a hot day, like yesterday while I sat by the lake writing my blog.

Dear Lord, help us recognize the Spirit as hovers around and wants to come in. Amen.
